This resource is now in TpT Digital format! I have added directions and textboxes for you! This is a great science nonfiction text about cranberries. It is paired with a science experiment! Cranberries are the official Thanksgiving fruit! This would be a great read to complement the children's book Cranberry Thanksgiving! This aligns with the Next Generation Science Standards. There are two graphic organizers for independent follow-up work after the reading, as well as recording sheets for the experiment.

I would also suggest watching a You-tube video of the harvesting of cranberries when you are done reading. There are several of them!
