Description
This Thanksgiving literacy activity is a fun way to practice letter recognition in November! It is perfect for morning bins, literacy centers and small group time in PreK and Kindergarten. To prepare this activity print and laminate the work mats and letter cards. Then, place the letter cards in a seasonal container. Next, have the children choose a letter card, identify the letter, and match it to the letter on the work mat.
*You can also glue the letter cards to clothespins and have the kids "clip" the clothespin to the matching letter. Try using magnetic letters or letter tiles, too!
