Activity 1: Dice Game
Includes two different dice with Thanksgiving items. Students roll the dice and record number on the two-digit addition sheet. Students then add to determine the equation answer.
Target skills: counting, dice skills, writing numerals, addition, writing/reading and equation, turn taking

Activity 2: Roll a Turkey
Students take turns rolling dice and building turkey from correlating number.
Target skills: counting, dice skills, turn taking, matching number to direction

Activity 3: Word and Number Match #1-8
Students match the number to the number word
Target skills: number recognition, matching, number word recognition

Activity 4: Word and Number Match #9-20
Students match the number to the number word
Target skills: number recognition, matching, number word recognition

Activity 5: Spin, Tally, and Graph
Students spin the Thanksgiving spinner and record results on the bar graph, tally chart, or both!
Target skills: producing and analyzing bar graph, producing and analyzing tally mark chart, turn taking

Activity 6: Patterns
Students use picture pieces to complete the patterns. Students can also use the pieces to create their own patterns.
Target skills: patterning (ABA, ABB, AAB)
