Are you needing new songs and games to keep your elementary music students engaged this November?! This set contains 15 songs and 18 games/activities to tie in Thanksgiving to the music room, making planning a breeze! There are songs for our youngest kindergarten learners through our upper elementary students to keep them singing, moving, dancing, and playing.

For each song in the file you can expect:

Over the River and Through the Woods (6/8) and 2 "Dappled Rhythms" games to practice 6/8 rhythms and 2 "Dappled Melodies" to practice ti (in 4 beat patterns, duple meter)

Hi Yo Witzi {Morning Song} (high do, tim-ka) with xylophone and drum parts plus two levels of ostinato cards for accompaniment on non-pitched percussion instruments or body percussion.

The Turkey Hungarian Folk Song (tika-tika) and 4 "Turkey Talk" games for practicing composition, improvisation, part work, transcription and body percussion in both 3-meter ad 4 meter patterns.

Blue Corn Grinding Song (half note) and 8 "Corny rhythm Games"- four for half note (4 and 8 beat patterns) and four for ta ti-ti (4 and 8 beat patterns)

The Turkey Song (story telling) and two turkey tunes games (G-do & F-do) for low so practice

Penobscot Dance Song (minor) and tone ladders for melodic practice and warm-ups.
