The unit has also been designed so that you, the teacher, or each student may decide how much content should be included in each notebook and/or lapbook that is completed.
If you choose to assign specific sections, you will find assignment and organizational pages. Students will also have pages to document research and more!
If you assign a notebooking project: Notebooks can be assembled using a 3 prong folder or a small 3 ring binder.
If you assign a lapbooking project: Lapbooks can be simply created using 1 folder (for a quick, simple study) or using multiple folders glued together (for a more in-depth study). A few examples are given to show using 1 or multiple folders.
Please note: There is no exact placement given for each item within the lapbook. This gives students a chance at organizing and designing their own special lapbooks.
Informational pages are also contained within the unit on the history of Thanksgiving, Proclamations of George Washington and Abraham Lincoln as well as information on the most common Thanksgiving symbols.
You will find a multitude of notebooking pages for students to write both research, expository writings as well as display their own creative writing (such as Acrostic Poetry).
Unit also includes a large vocabulary list and vocabulary cards for students to complete.
