This 125-page packet is full of fun activities to be used during the month of November. They are aligned with the common core and include many of the foundational and math skills taught during this time of the year. These activities have been inspired by 3 favorite November books: T is for Turkey, I Know an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Pie, and 10 Fat Turkeys. All of the activities in this packet, except for 2: retelling and ordinal numbers (I Know an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Pie), can be completed without having the books. If you don’t have it, don’t panic! We have provided a You Tube link for it so your students can enjoy listening to the story and then be able to complete these activities.

Activities for I Know an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Pie: (book needed or use link provided) 1) retelling of the story, 2) writing, 3) ordinal numbers center and practice sheet
Activities for 10 Fat Turkeys: 1) counting and cardinality with the number 10. 2) comparing numbers 7-9: greater than, less than, or equal to. Also included is a set of practice sheets.
3) decomposing numbers 3-6. 4) representing numbers 0-10 in a variety of ways.
