NEW for 2014! **If you purchased my Open Ended Game Bundle for Thanksgiving you do not need to purchase this game because it is included in the bundle!**
Print all pilgrims and the turkey page on regular printer paper. Print the “Key” page on white card stock and laminate or place in a clear page protector. Have your students choose what pilgrim they would like to be for the game. You will need only one turkey page for the game.
Rules: Use the key to determine what article of clothing is colored on your pilgrim. Students will roll, complete his or her goal and color the corresponding article of clothing. If a student rolls a number 6 he or she must color a part of the turkey. Everyone will color the same turkey but only one part at a time if the #6 is rolled. For example, if Student A rolls a #6 on her turn she will say, “Oh no, I’m a turkey!” and then color the turkey’s wings. Student B rolls a #6 on his turn, says “Oh no, I’m a turkey!” and colors the same turkey’s face. If the turkey is completely colored before the individual pilgrims are colored, everyone loses the game. If Student A gets her pilgrim colored first, she wins the game.
So, don’t be a turkey!
Great for any goals or objectives!
