This resource is a Project Based Learning (PBL) set of activities for all students in your class to participate in, as it incorporates many different subjects and learning styles. This resource is based on the premise that Tom Turkey is asking your students for their assistance in to help him escape being eaten this Thanksgiving. Students will complete different engaging and fun activities, such as disguising him into a loved one, planning an escape route from the Turkey Farm, and planning a Freedom Party once Thanksgiving is over! Students can use any reference materials needed, but most of the activities do not need it. This is a print-and-go packet; students complete a variety of activities (one to a page) and a student reflection is also provided for them to work on when done with the project. What fun for Thanksgiving! It's a perfect project to send home during Thanksgiving Break for students to keep their minds fresh and active!
