Meet so many standards with one week long project! By pairing narrative and informational texts on the same subject, you can spike students' interests and develop their higher level thinking skills! For this lap book Bear Says Thanks and The First Thanksgiving were the texts used but the activities are open ended enough that any narrative and informational books on Thanksgiving would work!
