This is a fun and silly Thanksgiving poem that your students will enjoy creating. It will make for a GREAT DISPLAY in the hallway or in your classroom.
Your students will gain exposure to this style of poetry – an – while reflecting on what they are most thankful for. This Thanksgiving activity is different than most, as it requires students to think more deeply about what they are thankful for, beyond the traditional answers like family and friends.
This resource includes a planning sheet and a final copy sheet. I have included a , as well as a , which is reproduced on Google Slides and able to be edited in order for students to fill in answers.
