In this packet you’ll find three fun handouts for practicing sensory details in November.
The first introduces (or reviews) the concept of sensory details and gives examples, as well as invites students to practice using a single picture.
The second invites students to describe two pictures, each using all the types of details.
The third is an opportunity to try out sensory detail in paragraph stories, inspired by Thanksgiving prompts.
