I created this activity for my students on the Autism spectrum and students with social deficits to practice Thanksgiving table etiquette, manners, and general social problem solving. To make it more fun for them, I came up with a simple game format (please see below).
1.Cut out and laminate all items.
2.Place cornucopia on the table.
3.Read a scenario from the cards out loud and have students respond – if they are able to respond appropriately, they get to place a matching item in the cornucopia.
4.If they manage to fill the cornucopia, they win.
CONTENTS (all PDF):
•27 Thanksgiving-themed scenarios / social skills situations
•9 blank cards to make your own scenarios
•36 images to place in cornucopia
I figured this would be the perfect activity for the holidays! Please check out my other Thanksgiving-themed items for Speech therapy!
