WHERE IS THE LEAF?
Includes 2 fun activities that target expressive and receptive use of prepositions of place (above, below, in, behind, etc.)
Discussion about ways to say thanks or show gratitude. Students choose a phrase and create greeting cards. Great activity to show that there are so many ways to say the same thing. Good for targeting expressive language, vocabulary, synonyms, and pragmatics (use of common phrases).
THANKSGIVING MYSTERY PICTURE
Describe a hidden picture. Excellent activity for expressive language, especially for increasing complexity of sentences. Cue sheet, example sheet, and pictures included.
THANKSGIVING BOARD GAME
A Thanksgiving themed board game template that is left open-ended so that it can be easily incorporated into your students' specific goals.
THANKSGIVING CONVERSATION BASKET
Asking/answering questions, critical thinking. Best for older students, but can be used with younger students with assistance.
A quick activity that is a great way to start a discussion of similarities and differences.
THANKSGIVING WRITING TEMPLATES
A variety of templates that can be used for writing tasks. Includes a "I am thankful for..." list, Thank You letter templates, and a page featuring a fearful turkey where students can write about their favorite Thanksgiving foods.
The ol' standby. Work on Thanksgiving vocabulary or just work it into another task as a reward game.
TWO REINFORCEMENT PAGES:
Autumn Leaves Reinforcement

Turkey Feather Reinforcement
Cut out the turkey feathers and glue them to the turkey's back.
