This download is an easy story for young students to get acquainted with the story of the first Thanksgiving. It is an easy book to make. Just print, cut and put together. I have included a colored copy and a black and white outline for students to color.

people on the ship. Many people became ill.
After six weeks, we landed on a place called Plymouth Rock. It is located in Massachusetts.
It was very cold and we had no place to live. So
we quickly chopped some wood and build

We cooked turkey, duck, and deer along with

We invited the Native Americans that had
helped us so much during the first year. The
celebration lasted for three days.
We gave our thanks for all we had.
Today many people celebrate Thanksgiving Day
and give thanks for all they have.
