This is a set of 24 Thanksgiving task cards. Students will read the question and then decide on the best answer. Each question is multiple choice. The questions are about the first Thanksgiving, the Pilgrims and Thanksgiving traditions. There are some questions the students will need to make an educated guess on. For example, the first balloon used in the Macy's Parade and how many feathers does a turkey have. This is meant to be a fun and educational activity. I use it right before Thanksgiving break.
Task cards can be used in a variety of ways including as a scoot game, centers or in small groups. I recommend this for 3rd through 6th grade but other grades would work depending on their reading level. You could also ask one question a day to students and have students guess. They could be used as a writing prompt as well or as part of an interactive bulletin board display.
***Please note: Most of the questions are the same as my Thanksgiving Trivia PowerPoint Game
