3 games in 1! This product can be used with the Thanksgiving Counters that are included with in this product for a Thanksgiving theme, or it can be used with regular counters!
1. Tens Frame Matching Game– The first 17 pages are for this game. I suggest laminating each page. After cutting out all of the numbers, mix them up and keep them in Ziploc bag. You can use regular counters or the counters included. How to play: Students pick out a number from the Ziploc bag, find the match, (if they pick a 4, they must find the word “four” and place it on the tens frame sheet). Then they must put 4 counters on the tens frame.
2. The next 10 pages are the “How many counters game”. Laminate and cut the page in half. Mix the cards. The student will then pick one card and then draw in counters or, if you’d prefer, use real counters to match the number in the square. IE: if students picks the paper with 7 on it, they must draw 7 counters on the tens frame.
3. The rest of the packet is the “How many counters are there?” game.
Laminate and cut the page in half. Mix the cards up. Students will then pick one card and determine how many counters are on the tens frame. They will then write that number in the square.
