This Thanksgiving-Themed review game is a template designed for any grade level and any subject. I use it with my seventh grade math students because they love clicking on image links that take them to surprise questions. Each picture on page two is linked to a page with a question (you can type in your own questions). Each page also has an "answer" box that fades out when clicked and a "Back to Turkeys" button to take you back to the turkeys for the next question. There are multiple ways that you can play:
1) Student-led Activity: Have a student go to the SMARTBoard and click on a turkey and work the surprise problem out. Then, pass the marker to another student.
2) Break students into two teams. Have team 1 click on the turkey of choice and work the problem out on individual white boards. The number of correct answers correlates to the number of points. Then, it is team 2's turn to pick.
3) Create your own version. Sometimes, I let students shoot a basketball into a hoop to earn even more points. This encourages some students who may not normally want to participate simply because they like shooting the basketball.
What do you need to do after you download the game?
Simply insert the unit name, questions and answers of your choice and it is ready to go! I hope your students have as much fun as mine do!
I have a review game like this for almost every holiday during the school year since my students enjoy them so much! Check back for more later as I will continue uploading them as I create them!
Enjoy the custom-designed graphics that are included as my husband created them for the game!
