This activity is a fun and engaging activity to help students learn about the history of Thanksgiving!
30 Trivia Cards with QR Codes for answers
Student Answer Sheet
Teacher Answer Key
30 Trivia Task Cards (Without QR codes) Duplicate questions of QR code cards
This activity can be used in many different ways.
Scavenger Hunt: Place the cards around the classroom and have students work individually or in pairs/groups to locate each card and record their answer on the student answer sheet. After they have answered all questions, students will go back and scan each QR code to see if they got the question correct.
Station Work: Set up stations around the room with cards at each station. Students will work on one set of questions before moving to the next station. You can set time limits for each station or have students move freely as they finish each station.
Bell ringers: Project a card on the board each day and have students answer on an index card and turn it in. Students can check their answers by scanning the QR code on the board.
I have included a set of task cards that are duplicate questions of the QR trivia cards. These can be used in the event that your students do not have access to technology.
