It must be close to November, there are turkeys everywhere, and they seem to be missing their feathers! Oh my goodness!
On the belly of each turkey is the number of feathers each turkey lost. This file folder game includes three different ways to play. Either count the feathers to find the match, or use the number words to match, or match all three.
Instructions and Contents
Print pages 1-9
Page 1 is the title page. I like to mount this to the front of the file folder for quick access.
Page 2 is this page. I mount this one to the back of the file folder as a reference.
Pages 3 & 4 are the game board pages for the inside of the file folder.
Pages 5-9 are the game pieces. After printing, trim these piece to be used as game pieces.
After mounting pages 1-4, and trimming pages 5-9 everything may be either laminated or covered in clear contact paper for durability and protection.
To play the children locate the number on the turkey’s belly. Then either count the number of feathers to make a match, or read the written number word to make a match. Game pieces can then be placed on top the correct turkey.
