This 127 paged unit contains 16 different activities to choose from for Word Work/Literacy Stations. It is an enormous set. Please make sure to check out the preview. I included all the student activity cards so you can get an idea of the activities included.

These stations have a format similar to my Back To School Word Work Stations but with continually more complex skills added. They will allow your students to continue to use familiar routines and procedures of your classroom and stations. They are differentiated and aligned.
The following activities are included:
Station 1:All Your Turkeys In A Row: This letter order activity is a fun activity using links for letter order practice.
Station 2: Your Order of Turkey Is Ready: Student pull letter cards and record the letters that come after (or before and after for those students who need a challenge).
Station 3: Turkey For Dinner: Letter recognition card game. Students hide a dining turkey behind letters and their friends take turns searching for the turkey by identifying letters and sounds.
Station 4: Let’s Eat: : A letter recognition card game with fun ‘surprise’ cards to make play fun.
Station 5: Turkey Teams: Letter Matching game
Station 6: Eat Drink and Party Like a Pilgrim: Sight word recognition activity where students hide roast turkey behind sight words. They take turns guessing where the turkey is located by identifying words. There are over 100 words from which to choose or an editable file for making your own word cards.
Station 7: Yummy: A fun fast paced sight word game with some special cards to make play exciting.
Station 8: Sounds of Thanksgiving: Self-correcting independent beginning letter sound and CVC activity
Station 9: Thanksgiving Syllables Sort-This activity can be used with a sensory table or without. Students are engaged as they sort pictures by the number of syllables they represent.
Station 10: Thanksgiving Syllable Write the Room Fun-Students search the room for hidden pictures and record the number of syllables for each.
Station 11: A Feast of See Say Color: Students race to see who can See, Say and Color their sheet first by identifying letters and beginning letter sounds.
Station 12: Lucky Wishbones: Students word to find rhyming matches that are hidden.
Station 13: Turkey Lurkey Match and Record: A rhyme and record activity
Station 14: Thanksgiving Letter and Sounds Yatta and CVC Word Recognition Activity: A fast paced letter, beginning sounds or CVC word recognition game.
Activity 15: Thanksgiving Family of Words Yatta: A fast paced letter, beginning sounds or CVC word recognition game.
Station 16: A Thanksgiving Story and Retell: A Thanksgiving reader and retell activity.

This activity is aligned to Common Core Standards:
RF.K.1d Recognize and name all upper- and lowercase letters of the alphabet.
RF.K.2a Recognize and produce rhyming words.
RF.K.2b Count, pronounce, blend, and segment syllables in spoken words.
RF.K.2c Blend and segment onsets and rimes of single-syllable spoken words.
RF.K.2d Isolate and pronounce the initial, medial vowel, and final sounds (phonemes) in three-phoneme (consonant-vowel-consonant, or CVC) words.1 (This does not include CVCs ending with /l/, /r/, or /x/.
RF.K.3a Demonstrate basic knowledge of one-to-one letter-sound correspondences by producing the primary sound or many of the most frequent sounds for each consonant.
RF.K.3c Read common high-frequency words by sight (e.g., the, of, to, you, she, my, is, are, do, does).
L.K.1a Print many upper- and lowercase letters.
L.K.2c Write a letter or letters for most consonant and short-vowel sounds (phonemes).
RL.K.2 With prompting and support, retell familiar stories, including key details.
