Description

Thankful Writing is a lesson plan with a set of digital and printable resources for teaching students to write a simple 5-paragraph essay about the things they are thankful for. You'll find directions for introducing this easy expository format, leading a brainstorming session, and working with students as they complete their Thanksgiving essays. The best part is that they can glue their essays into a folder, decorate them, and share them with their families on Thanksgiving Day!

New for 2020! Thankful Writing has been updated with digital Google Slides resources! If you like this Thanksgiving writing lesson, please leave feedback to share your thoughts about it! Thanks!
