Have students respond to the writing prompts on the task cards by completing the graphic organizer for the correct mode. Then, have students write their rough draft on a piece of notebook paper. When they are ready to publish their writing, they write their final piece on the lined writing paper included in this resource. Next, have students color the topper and bottom (if you choose to use a bottom) and cut out. The page topper can be glued to the top of the writing paper making sure words are not covered up. Bottoms can be glued to the bottom behind the writing paper to make it look as if the character is standing behind the paper. Voila’, you have a super cute craftivity to display in the hall or in your classroom!
