PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Encourage upper elementary students to thoughtfully reflect on the school year with a variety of creative, end-of-the-year activities!

Included in the file are the following activities:

*Surveys: These surveys combine Likert scale and open-ended questions that ask students for their opinions on classroom environment, class content, likes and dislikes, personal growth, and much more! Includes surveys for classroom, reading, spelling, English, social studies, science, math, teacher, and self. These surveys are also available for purchase separately.

*Letter to New Third Graders Template: Let students share their insights on third grade with next year's class by writing them a letter on this attractive, lined template.

*Create-Your-Own Top 10 Tips for Third Grade Poster: Students can create a colorful and succinct guide to surviving the third grade using this appealing poster template.

*Make the Grade: A Guide to School Success: Another option for reflection and writing is for students to develop this "survival" handbook for incoming third graders. Each page of the handbook provides students lined space to write about "How to Make the Grade" in areas such as Reading, English, Social Studies, Science, Math, Homework, Tests, Behavior, and Organization. Students can then decorate the handbook. What a great surprise for next year's class!

*Nuggets of Knowledge Template and Sample Bulletin Board with Instructions: Students will create "gold nuggets of knowledge" with advice for next year's class using these templates and gold glitter. Perfect for a back-to-school bulletin board, a sample design of which is included!

*Our Favorite Episodes from Third Grade Timeline Activity and Template: Based on a television theme, students will write or illustrate their most favorite or memorable experiences from this school year as well as the date on the included TV template. Then, you choose how you want to use the templates. How about a kinesthetic activity where students represent and order the events? Or small group activity? It would work great as a bulletin board or a wall hanging as well.

Farewell, Fourth Grade; Farewell, Fifth Grade; and See Ya Later, Sixth Grade bundles are also available.
