This Interactive adjective unit can be made into a two week lesson, depending on the length of time that you spend on the Day three exercise. Students will be interactive throughout the entire unit. Students will have NO worksheets and NO busy work!
Students will work on whole group, small group, partnerships and then individual work. Students will then come back to whole group to complete a final activity.
Students will start with a whole group adjective lesson.
Students will then move to a small group activity to describe a particular monster.
Students will come back and share with their group, and then the entire class to add to the description of monsters.
Students will then work on a secret individual project.
Students will then work in partnerships and become peer editors.
Students will then play a game with their partner to help each other edit and add more descriptive adjectives to their project.
After they work in partnerships, they will come back whole group and each student will share one page of their project. Each student will read another child's sheet, and then try to locate the monster picture that they are reading.
This unit includes detailed lessons, broken down by day. Up through ten days.
This is a minimal printing project. This is more about students working together, and coming together to understand adjectives.
Your students will LOVE this unit!
