What to read next?
Here’s 100 options!
The 100 Book Initiative Program was designed to give students great options and choices when it comes to reading. You can start this at any point during the year to get your students reading!
Here’s how it works:
The teacher reads aloud the first chapter of 100 books throughout the school year. If the student likes a book, they borrow or purchase the book and finish it on their own. They complete a simple reading bookmark and turn it in to the teacher. The student will be rewarded with a no homework pass and also a paper star. They color the star and it gets hung up in the room for all to see! Students are motivated and rewarded for reading great books!
This program and download includes:
- The List of 100 Books in order from easiest to difficult
-A introductory letter to the parents
