Winter Holiday activity for the FITT principle. Teach students about the FITT principle in PE or Health and allow them to create a short term activity plan applying the principle. Use the general length of a Winter Break to help students plan a timeline of activity. Focus on cardiorespiratory endurance, muscular strength/endurance, and/or flexibility. Accompanying lessons should focus on the five components of fitness, training techniques for each of the five components, introducing the FITT principle, and practicing how to use it.
