Product Description

In sixth grade my students have to know the 2 astronomers that supported the earth-centered theory and the 2 astronomers that supported the sun-centered theory. These are notes based on Aristotle, Ptolemy, Copernicus, and Galileo. They are set up in both a way to be cut apart randomly or in order. My students and I watch a video on each of the astronomers and then find the date and explanation that go with that astronomer. We put them in order to make a timeline to understand how astronomers changed their theory from an earth-centered solar system and sun-centered solar system. I also have them draw a picture after the two earth-centered astronomers and after the two sun-centered astronomers.
