Everything you need in a research workbook- a page for each state, additional research pages, bibliography template, and rubric! Each workbook page is set-up for students to research and complete independently. If needed, the extra research pages provide added rigor for those students wanting a challenge. The bibliography template requires students to document their sources when completing the state research. Finally, the grading rubric provides students with clear assignment expectations.
Everything is ready to print and includes:
State Workbook Pages:
The state workbook pages require students to complete a map, identify the capital and major cities, draw and identify the state flower and bird, sketch the state flag, and complete a writing prompt.
Additional State Research Pages:
The additional state research pages include state facts, state animal, famous people, tourist attractions, sports, and weather. The additional pages can easily be added to the back of the individual state workbook pages.
The bibliography template gives students a space to record the references utilized to complete their state research. The template is set-up for easy transfer to MLA or APA format (if necessary).
The grading rubric provides students with an outline of workbook and research expectations. It also includes a comments section for teacher input and feedback.
