Product Description

Help your students become competent and confident readers. These 26 tips can be photocopied for inclusion in reading folders, made into a wall poster, used as the basis for writing prompts, small and large group discussion groups, and year-round references. Here are a few examples:

**********************************************************************

Active readers participate in reading--they note main and supporting ideas, observe relationships and vocabulary, and make notes. They THINK about what they're reading.

Keep these and the 23 other tips as a ready, year-long reference to help your students become better readers. Reading, close reading, reading strategies
