Reading, Cut Out Model and C.E.R R Activity
STUDENTS WILL READ A SHORT ARTICLE DESCRIBING THE BASIC CHEMICAL MAKE UP OF ATP AND HOW IT IS CONVERTED INTO ADP FOR THE RELEASE OF ENERGY. AFTER READING A SHORT ARTICLE THE STUDENTS WILL MAKE AN ATP TO ADP MODEL. MY STUDENTS ENJOYED THIS A LOT! FINALLY, THEY WILL TAKE THEIR BACKGROUND KNOWLEDGE AND MODEL AND EXPLAIN THE PROCESS USING CLAIM, EVIDENCE, REASONING, AND REBUTTAL TO CONSTRUCT AN EXPLANATION ABOUT THE QUESTION: HOW DOES THE FOOD WE EAT CONVERT INTO ENERGY?
