This lesson covers the Age of Exploration. Students will read a 3 page article over the Motivations for Exploration, How Portugal Begins Exploration, and the Discovery of the New World. The lesson directions have the students create a 3 section booklet where they answer questions over each section and then illustrate the main events that happen.
