**FILE UPDATED 03/03/17**
This webquest is a simple and straight-forward way for students to learn about The Alamo. There is a link in the file for them to click on and questions to answer while there. Some of the links are informational text, some are interactive tours, and others are videos. With an average-size class and functioning computers, I usually finish this in 2 lab days but it could be extended or shortened as needed. It is best if students can type directly into the document and click on the links, however, it is not necessary - you could provide a copy of the paper to write on and save the links in favorites or to a webpage.
This can be used as a basic introduction to the topic or to start class discussion. I use it in a Spanish classroom as a cultural component but it could be used in a history class also. NO ANSWER KEY IS PROVIDED here since the depth of the ideal answer can vary depending on the class using the webquest. Additionally, many of the answers may vary depending on the students' opinions.
