Tired of students cheating off each other or going online for all the answers? This handout is made to be printed on both sides and cut in half (to save paper). There are two sets of questions to give out to students ( A and B) to ensure that students don't all get the same set of questions. There are roughly three to four questions on each *preview does not show all questions. This is great if you have students sitting in a paired setting to save space in the room.
Students are required to answer each questions by first restating the question in their answer and then backing up their answer using textual evidence and page #. They can (by your discretion) find one quote for any of their answers, or they can find a quote to prove each answer.
This is a great activity to help students identify textual evidence as well as assessing their understanding of the novel.

Cite strong and thorough textual evidence to support analysis of what the text says explicitly as well as inferences drawn from the text, including determining where the text leaves matters uncertain.
