This game is great for use in ESL or primary classrooms (PreK – 1st) in order to strengthen students’ knowledge of letter names. This set contains twenty-six (26) letter cards, one for each letter of the alphabet.
Instructions for use:
Print pages onto cardstock, cut on lines to produce 4 letter cards from each page, and laminate for durability. Give a card to each student. All students should stand. Have one student start the game by reading what’s on their card, saying out loud to the other students in the classroom which letter they have and asking who has the next letter indicated on their card. Students should listen carefully and raise their card if they have the letter called for. The student who called for the first letter should remain standing until their letter is called for. The student who has the first requested letter will now read his/her card, call for the next letter, and sit down after someone responds. Repeat until all letters have been called and all students are seated.
