The Alphabet game is a very flexible game where the level of difficulty can change depending on how you play the game.
The alphabet game is a life size board game. The players roll the dice and move the appropriate amount of spaces to a letter. Once they land on a letter they must say a word that starts with this letter. A player can also land on a ?, a yellow star or a rainbow star.
- The Question Mark: When a player lands on a ? the teacher reads the question to the student. There are two sets of ? cards. One with a blue box around the question and one with a red. The red questions are more difficult.
- The Yellow Star: This is like a chance card. They will either have to move forward or backwards or switch spaces with another player.
- The Rainbow Star: Each card has the word Noun, Verb, Adjective or Adverb on it. The teacher picks a letter and the student would have to give a noun, verb, adjective or adverb that start with that letter.
