Product Description
Teach the American Revolution through literature circles. Integrating your American Revolution studies into your Language Arts lessons allows students to put themselves into the lives of Patriots, Loyalists, and those caught in the middle. This unit may be taught with an existing Social Studies curriculum, or without one. The novels in these lessons will help students visualize what it was like to live during the time of the American Revolutionary war.

This unit is written to last 8 weeks. Each novel study is broken down with discussion points, worksheets, quizzes, a final essay, and an illustrative art activity. In addition, rubrics are included for the two culminating projects.
