Focusing on the 4 P's - Product, Promotion, Place, Price, this project is pretty long meant to be completed in 2 weeks. Students were to create a new pizza flavor and market it to a specific target audience. We incorporated a pizza fundraiser into this project and worked with a local pizza restaurant. They agreed to try our flavors as long as we used their existing ingredients for one night. This could easily be adapted to a sandwich shop. You could also make it fictitious and just do the ending presentation. Includes group partner rubric and project rubric.
