I teach about the Articles of Confederation in concert with The American Revolution. I wanted an activity that would make the students "dig a little deeper" to develop links of cause and effect--from the Revolution to the Declaration--using the Articles of Confederation as a bridge between the two events. This is designed to be a paired activity.
I have written an essay/open response question that follows this graphic organizer and is independent work. (Listed on my store as AOC Question).
The standard that I have listed on the document is a Kentucky Core Standard. I think this could be made more rigorous for upper grades.
