leads students through a discussion of the Articles of Confederation (1777). Specific attention is given to what the new national government (Congress) could and could not do. The presentation then focuses on how the fear of a strong national government resulted in a document that was weak and unable to deal with impending economic and diplomatic crises. Students are left to speculate what the Founding Fathers might do to address such deficiencies.
The presentation uses a Calibri font and includes custom animation.
