PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This assignment, which is designed for use in an advanced literature class, compiles snippets from Kate Chopin's contemporary literary critics (mostly published in the spring of 1899) and asks students to consider the merits and limitations of each literary criticism. This activity can be done in class individually or collaboratively, and it also works well as a homework assignment. This assignment always results in higher-level thinking and rich conversations about the literature.
