Description

I have perfected my Unit Circle template (especially) over the years, to include spaces for:

  • degree/radian measure
  • the x- and y-coordinates (sine & cosine values)
  • tangent values for each key angle around the unit circle

Included, find a practice version, a quiz version, and 2 different options for the sine, cosine, and tangent functions (Option 1: [-2pi,2pi], Option 2: [-4pi,4pi])

I have included keys for everything, and have uploaded a video explaining the Unit Circle break down here: https://youtu.be/MaORCIxMeVw

For the DIGITAL version of the Unit Circle resource included here, see https://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/The-BEST-DIGITAL-Unit-Circle-Templates-6548686.

Use the unit circle to explain symmetry (odd and even) and periodicity of trigonometric functions.
Use special triangles to determine geometrically the values of sine, cosine, tangent for π/3, π/4 and π/6, and use the unit circle to express the values of sine, cosine, and tangent for π–𝘹, π+𝘹, and 2π–𝘹 in terms of their values for 𝘹, where 𝘹 is any real number.
Explain how the unit circle in the coordinate plane enables the extension of trigonometric functions to all real numbers, interpreted as radian measures of angles traversed counterclockwise around the unit circle.
