Teacher-prepared notes show students what is important and how ideas relate, and offer a model for how students should take notes themselves (Marzano et al., 2001). These notes help students understand how the industrial revolution began in England. The notes also give students a visual of the major problems associated with rapid industrialization. I usually read a section from the textbook (The Beginning of Industrialization) with my students, and then help them make sense of new information using these notes. These notes come with a completed teacher version and a student fill-in-the-blank version. Ready to use and ready to print! Enjoy!
