In this 27 page lesson, students will be confronted with a historical question to consider (How did the Industrial Revolution “turn” England and other countries of the world? What social, economic, and environmental changes occurred as a result?) and they will use historical evidence/clues (excerpts from primary sources, photographs, charts, graphs etc.) to answer the question. There are 29 SHORT “clues” included and comprehension questions to guide student understanding of each clue. While working with the “clues” provided, your students will build their knowledge on the topic until they are able to draw conclusions and address the essential question. 2 CREATIVE Assessment activities are also included. All materials, graphic organizers, teacher directions and answer key is included!
