The Big Game - A drama about diversity
Description
This is a musical script to celebrate different cultures coming together in a school setting. Students rally around a new Hispanic student who is struggling to grasp the language and other barriers preventing him from fitting in.
Music suggestions including La Bamba and Huki Lau as well as selections from Music K-8 Publication are offered. However the director has the freedom to pick and choose other appropriate selections to fit the script. The script can also be performed as a play without any music.
With classrooms and our general populations becoming more culturally diverse every day, this script becomes increasingly more relevant every day. Your kids will enjoy this one!
