Estimated Experiment Length- 1-2 hours
Well suited for 2 class periods
This is a product comparison science experiment using 2 brands of bubble gum measuring bubble diameter and linear stretch.
Working with a partner, students will use the scientific method to proceed through this high-interest lab, which can be adjusted for a wide variety of grade levels and ability sets.
Problem: Which type of bubble gum has the best stretch?
In this experiment, students will compare 2 brands of bubble gum to determine which brand will offer the greater stretch.
