For each of my students' birthdays, each of his/her classmates colors and writes a little message on a birthday page. I put the pages together to make class birthday card books. My kids love getting their birthday books! They're fun, colorful, and personal! Birthday books make great morning work or center work on birthdays.
It's really simple to do.
1- Each student colors a birthday card page and writes a little message on the page.
2- Hole punch each birthday card.
3- Decorate a cover for the student. I use 9x12 construction paper.
4- Write a little personal message for your student in the front or back cover.
5- Hole punch the cover.
6- Bind the book using brass fasteners.
Ta-da! You have a super cute birthday book!
