Product Description

This project is based on the book Max gives Liesel in "The Book Thief" called "The Standover Man." The book is based on his own experiences that led to his arrival at Himmel Street, and his friendship with Liesel.

Students will create a picture book about their own lives; an important friend, dream, or memory. This will take several days to complete if you choose to assign it as an in-class project. The guidelines require 7-10 pages minimum, but students have the option of adding more as needed.

This download includes the instructions, guidelines, a "brainstorming" page, and a storyboard for rough drafts.
