Description

This is the video guide for episode two of "The Brain" documentary by David Eagleman. It is on PBS and on various streaming sites like Amazon Prime, but I would check to make sure it is still there before purchasing. I show this series during the brain unit and LOVE it as it relates to so many different areas that I cover later in the year and I can relate back to the documentary and immediately the students know what I am talking about.

The guide contains 10 questions (short answer and multiple choice) and there is an answer key included.

Topics: Neurons, teen stress study, medial prefrontal cortex, the "Knowledge Test," the Whitman case, the Loftus study, and research on aging and the brain.

The video would also work in biology, anatomy, and other courses that discuss the brain.
