Chapter Test for The Call of the Wild. Forces students to prove their understanding of how incidents in the story affect different aspects such as plot, character interactions, how incidents changed a character's perspective or decisions, and explain themes. I chose big incidents that affected the way the main character, Buck, learned, interacted, and made decisions. (I began adding guiding questions to get the students' thinking in the right area)
Vocabulary added from the text. Students must use content from the story, include a context clue, and the sentence must be original. (I had students define any words they did not know as we read on a vocabulary chart)
Can send an answer key if needed, although student answers will vary.
