Description
For or use with the text “The Call of the Wild,” by Jack London, this activity has students combine creative and real-world writing. Students will write a letter home from one or more characters in the text using a well-organized friendly letter. Also includes an optional tie-in envelope activity.
Contents:
• Student printable with list of characters to choose for the letter home. Teacher can choose how many letters to be written (one or more). Includes rubric.
• Sample friendly letter (related to the text) with labels on parts of the letter
• Address an Envelope activity/ grading sheet (2 copes per page for saving paper)
• Sample Envelope with separate Parts of an Address labels
